Osborne and Fawkner is an independent publishing house. We aim to create an elevated platform for writers, thinkers, and creatives.

We want to create opportunities and increase knowledge through creative projects that broaden perspective in the public domain and mainstream.

​

Osborne and Fawkner is so named as it is a story of a writer’s early years and their abode which was located at this intersection. One road was Fawkner the other Osborne.  The suburban area where this individual spent their early years was where a lot of publishers and writers lived and worked in 90’s Melbourne. The writer’s time spent here left an impression and inspiration was seeded and they grew up to start their venture. A group of dedicated young people gathered  and from which became the Publishing House of Osborne and Fawkner.

Osborne and Fawkner as an Australian business bases our principles on the employment and everyday anti discrimination and stigma act: The law protects people who have a disability now or had one in the past. This includes people who have previously had major health issues, be it physical or brain related It's also against the law to discriminate against the individual whom has: someone who is assisting them. Discrimination may be obvious and direct, or subtle in work or a public space. Respect is common sense. Call it out.
